Terms of Service

Last updated 27 July 2026

Not in force yet

Motric is in development and has no public users. These documents describe how the product actually behaves today, but they are not yet in effect: the operating company is not named below, the contact addresses are not live, and a qualified lawyer has not reviewed them. They are published so the behaviour they describe can be checked against the product.

Still to be completed: the controller’s legal entity, registered address and company number; the privacy and security contact addresses; the lead supervisory authority that follows from the place of establishment; and the governing law and venue.

1. Who we are and what this is

These Terms are an agreement between you and not yet completed (“Motric”, “we”, “us”) covering the Motric app, the website at fit.everfast.dev and the site at marketing-fit.everfast.dev (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use it.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your data and forms part of this agreement.

2. What Motric does

Motric is a strength-training app. It:

What Motric is not: it is not a medical service, not a diagnostic tool, not a rehabilitation programme, and not a substitute for a doctor, physiotherapist, dietitian or any other qualified professional. See §6.

3. Who can use it

Age. You must be 16 or older to use the Service. Calorie and training-nutrition guidance is built for adults, and we do not offer a version of it for younger users.

Then the code, these Terms and the Privacy Policy must all say the same number.

The minimum age is not only a legal line. The calorie formulas the engine uses are not validated for children, and its calorie floor is an adult floor — so a prescriptive target for a child is clinically wrong, not just non-compliant.

Capacity. You must be able to enter a binding contract where you live.

Health. You confirm you’re in general good health and able to train. If you have a medical condition, an injury, are pregnant, are taking medication, or have any doubt at all — talk to a doctor before you start. See §6.

4. Your account

5. Acceptable use

Don’t:

We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where the breach is serious — attacking the Service, or trying to reach other people’s health data — we’ll act immediately.

Reporting security issues: security@motric.app. Consider a published responsible-disclosure policy.

6. Health, medical advice, and AI — read this one

This is the most important section in these Terms.

6.1 Not medical advice

The following disclaimer applies to Motric’s training and nutrition guidance:

General fitness guidance built from published research — not medical advice. For injuries, pain, medical conditions, medications, or pregnancy, talk to a doctor or physio before you start.

Concretely:

6.2 The AI coach

Movi is an AI. Where guidance is AI-generated, this disclaimer applies:

This guidance is generated by AI and may contain mistakes. It is general fitness and nutrition information, not medical advice. For injuries, pain, medical conditions, medications, pregnancy, or any real health concern, consult a qualified doctor or licensed professional before acting.

Two distinctions we hold to, and you should know about:

6.3 Diet limits, and why we sometimes say no

The engine enforces hard limits and will refuse requests that cross them: no prescribed intake below its floor, and no rate of weight loss faster than its cap. If you ask for a crash diet, you’ll be told why not and offered the moderate path instead. That is deliberate and not negotiable in the product.

6.4 Eating disorders

Motric screens for signs of disordered eating. If it triggers, we stop giving calorie targets and restrictive plans and switch to a supportive tone. The pointer we show is:

If eating, weight, or body image is feeling stressful or out of control, you deserve real support — please consider talking to a doctor, a registered dietitian, or an eating-disorder support organization in your country.

6.5 Not a medical device

7. Coaches and clients

Motric lets one person coach another. Roles are relationships, not account types: everyone has their own training data, and you become a coach the moment someone accepts you as one. A coach can be someone else’s client at the same time.

A coach a client accepts can see everything in that client’s account. The disclosure shown before accepting reads:

A coach you accept can see everything in your account — your plan, every logged set, your progress, your diet, and your check-ins (and body photos, if you ever add them). They can also adjust your training. Nothing is shared until you accept, and you can pause or end it at any time.

If you are a client: accepting a coach means consenting to disclose your health data to that person. Only accept coaches you actually want to have that.

If you are a coach, you agree that:

7.3 Who is responsible for what

7.4 When it ends

The client keeps everything. The record is theirs; the coach loses all access immediately. A coach has no right to a copy.

8. Your content, our content

Yours stays yours. Your training data, your logs, your photos, your messages — you own them. You give us only the licence we need to run the Service for you: to store, process and display your content back to you, and to the coaches you have accepted.

We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not license it to anyone else. Our AI provider commits the same: “Cloudflare does not use your Customer Content to (1) train any AI models made available on Workers AI or (2) improve any Cloudflare or third-party services.”

Ours stays ours. The Motric name and branding, the app, the training engine and the rules it applies, the evidence library and its annotations, and Movi’s design are ours or our licensors’. Using the Service doesn’t transfer any of it to you. Don’t copy it, don’t reverse-engineer it, don’t reuse the programmes it produces to build a competing product.

Feedback. If you send us suggestions, we can use them freely without owing you anything.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the Service up but we don’t promise uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. For a change that materially reduces what you get, we’ll give reasonable notice where we can.

Much of Motric works offline by design: your workout is logged on your device and syncs later. AI and research features need a connection.

10. Price

11. Warranties and liability

Intent:

12. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Deleting your account removes your training record and your photos permanently — you confirm by typing your email address, and there is no undo, no restore and no support path to bring it back. Download your data first if you want to keep it; both are in your account settings.

We can suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, that puts other users’ data at risk, or where we’re required to. Except where a breach is serious or the law requires immediate action, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

On termination: your access ends, active coaching links end, and your data is deleted in line with the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature survive — intellectual property, liability, governing law — survive.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we’ll give reasonable notice before they take effect, and continuing to use the Service afterwards means you accept them. If you don’t, you can close your account.

14. Governing law and disputes

Until the operating company exists there is no country of establishment to choose from, so this is deliberately unset rather than guessed. What is already true, and does not depend on the choice:
